Who is this site for?
For the artist. For the writer. For the teacher or the coach. For any creative person in the profession of crafting experiences and telling stories.
For those who must wake up every morning, lace up their shoes, pick up a pencil, and fight the Enemy: That horrible monster that Monsieur Pressfield defines as “Resistance” but which we shall simply refer to as “Someday.”
If you’ve ever asked yourself, “How do I sell my art without compromising it?”
…then this is for you.
Here you will find the tools and resources necessary to reach through the noise and find your audience, attract therm, and keep them coming back.
Here you will find the methods for accomplishing that goal without turning yourself into a salesman or losing yourself in the daily drudgery and forgetting your art.
I’m like you.
I’m an artist.
And I’m a coach. Specializing in helping other artists connect with their audience.
I’ve been doing this since the late 90’s. And I’ve been working with the web since the onset of the oughts in ’00.
I’ve run successful Kickstarter campaigns, assisted with the development of thriving Patreon accounts, and read everything and attended every course and implemented every strategy centered on branding, search engine optimization, content marketing, email list building, website design, CSS, HTML5, PHP7, social media community building, click funnels, and good old-fashioned sales imaginable. And I’ve mastered all of the technological terminology and marketing claptrap that comes with it.
So you don’t have to.
The tools and resources I use can be found here. The knowledge of how to effectively use them can be found here. And they’re here for you. They’re here to help you.
I am here to help you.
I’m not here to coddle you or to tell you that it will all work out.
I’m here to help you make it work out.
I will tell you what needs doing and what needs ignoring.
But you will have to do most of the heavy lifting.
Why are you doing this?
Largely because I grew tired of answering the same technical questions time and time again for different clients.
Secondly, because every time you click on one of the links in the enclosed articles, I make a couple of bucks.
But please note: I make the same amount from recommending Coca-Cola that I would by recommending Pepsi. All of these companies offer more or less the same amount to their “affiliates.” So I have no financial incentive to offer you one product, service, theme, plugin, hosting company, and/or book over another.
I will only ever recommend those TOOLS I ACTUALLY USE and TRUST.
