Sabidurian.com does not store any of your data, but the cookies used with several of our WordPress widgets (the tools that make the site function) might very well do so. We’ve tried to list below any such tools.
Sabidurian.com uses MailChimp to organize our newsletter. When you choose to subscribe, giving us your name and email, that information is saved on MailChimp’s servers so that we can send you an email from time to time. We DO NOT provide that information to third parties.
Sabidurian.com uses affiliate link programs to send you to products or services that we like and use.. If you choose to purchase that product after following our link, we receive a referral fee. Usually a few cents to a few dollars. These affiliate programs do not, however, provide information to us about you personally. They just let us know someone made a purchase after following our link.
Sabidurian.com uses WordPress’s Comments system to allow you to comment on posts and pages. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Sabidurian.com uses Ninja Forms for our contact form. When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email, and the contents of your message. We do not, however, save your email for marketing purposes unless you choose to opt-in to our newsletter when sending the original message. (There’s an opt-in option marked “Subscribe to our newsletter” that you can click to do so when submitting a message via the contact form.)
